Billy Roper

Here's what the Southern Poverty Law Center had to say about Billy Roper:
Billy Roper is the uncensored voice of violent neo-Nazism. Whether he's admiring the 9/11 attacks or discussing his racial ideals, this one-time schoolteacher isn't afraid to celebrate genocide and mass murder.
Let's take a look at Billy Roper's Facebook page.  Lots of 9/11 conspiracy interests, in addition to the predictable racism and anti-Semitism.  ETA: He's back.

Low-Quality Trollage and the Klan

Internet trolls have existed since before the first web browser, but some of the old-school trolls could occasionally be clever, albeit obnoxious.  For example, the notorious GNAA developed and released a set of trolling tools.  Facebook has trolls too, but most of them couldn't program their way out of a paper bag.  So they deface memorial and support group pages.  One of them was outed last month as a high-ranking Ku Klux Klan member with a history of violence.

Is he the only Ku Klux Klan member on Facebook?  Hardly.  We recently showcased some lovely Ku Klux Klan wedding photos, and it should come as no surprised that the bride got kicked off Facebook but is now back.  For your viewing pleasure, we have two more Klan members.

Johnny Klanson has some interesting quotes.
"88" -> "HH" -> "Heil Hitler."
"AYAK" -> "Are you a Klansman?"
"AKIA" -> "A Klansman I am."

He has a classy joke about the Holocaust on his wall.

David Moyer lists a Klan organization among his interests, and also "snipers", "reloading ammo", and "the survival of the white race."

Windows Live and Cybertipline

Although this blog was inspired by content on Facebook, child pornography is a problem on numerous social networks.  For example, there are some profiles on Microsoft Windows Live that are so foul that they can't even be screencapped, let alone displayed here.  An activist from Spain who has been fighting child pornography for years provided a sampling, though he pointed out that there are hundreds of such profiles.

There are still error messages related to invalid site certificates on the Cybertipline site, but if we ignore those, we come to a lengthy form.  Filling this out would be OK if you only had one or two sites to report, but it quickly gets infeasible if there are a lot of URLs.  So we contacted Cybertipline and asked if we could submit in an alternate format, e.g., XML or tab-delimited text.  They said no, and also asked that only one profile per form be reported.

This may sound petty, but an interface that is cumbersome or confusing discourages people from using it.  At the end of the day, that could make the difference between whether child pornography gets reported or not.

Bigfan Vicky

The user formerly known as "Todd Lerfuk" and "Peetee Achcee" seems to have a thing for "Little Vicky," a child pornography victim exploited by everyone who watches her videos as well as the man who originally made them .  According to some reports, he returned as "Little Vicky" and may now be known as "Bigfan Vicky."

Here's a photo from one of his earlier accounts.

Here's what may be his latest user profile:

He's apparently from Wisconsin (U.S.) and one user believed that his name may be John Walter.

The "Protecting Our Children" group has had some discussions and a note about him.  He has reportedly used the accounts "tineeluver@gmail.com" and "raygoldraygold@yahoo.com"

Molesting Children

By this point, it's hard to get too surprised that 22 Facebook users listed "molesting children" among their "likes."

Kevin Arnold

Kevin Arnold is interested in "kids" and a number of other things.  I guess that might explain why a number of his friends have pictures of young boys as their profile photos.

He also enjoys a blog called "Boy Cuties" and provides his phone number in case anyone feels like calling him.  Somehow, we don't.

Children and Adolescents Story

There's an application developed called "children and adolescents story" with a photo of a young boy in a swimsuit with his legs apart.  The developer also has a picture of a young boy as a profile photo.  Quelle coincidence!

The users aren't exactly shy about their interests.

We could safely say that Kevin Wang is not an inhibited kind of guy.

It's not unusual for these people to share links to what we assume is child pornography.

Kevin's buddy Hung Lo also uses a suggestive alias.
